Plugs in the paint industry

An essential tool in every powder coating, electroplating, liquid, cataphoretic and anodizing plant are systems and materials for masking technological holes that must remain free of coating. These protections, in various forms – plugs, caps, rollers are made of silicone, vinyl or other materials that are resistant to high temperatures and have high mechanical strength. Thanks to this, they can be used many times.

To reuse paint protection, it must first be cleaned. A common method of removing paint from plugs is chemical cleaning or manual chipping of paint layers. Unfortunately, it is time-consuming, unecological and sometimes unprofitable. A much more effective method is vibro-abrasive processing inhighly effective  disc finishing machines. The use of this kind of processing allows to avoid troublesome chemical processing using solvents to remove the paint layer.
