Jewellery production
Jewellery making is a centuries-old craft that has evolved into a modern manufacturing industry through technological innovation. Today, advanced equipment enables the precise mass production of jewellery components as well as high-quality surface finishing, delivering the flawless mirror shine expected in premium jewellery.
For decades, mass finishing was performed using polishing tumblers, which provided effective wet grinding and polishing with abrasive media but required processing times of many hours.
Today, tumblers have largely been replaced by centrifugal disc finishing machines, which reduce finishing times to less than an hour in many applications. For delicate components, round vibratory finishing machines offer a gentler alternative. The latest advancement in surface finishing is electropolishing, which achieves a mirror-bright finish in just a few minutes.
